Captain's Log 2267.2 - Mission Report

Harry Mudd's whereabouts are, again, an unknown. Fortunately, his attempt to hijack Solace were thwarted, and his android accomplices destroyed. According to medical's report, Ensigns H'suur and T'zark were not in control of their own actions. Apparently, the androids could exude a synthetic pheromone similar to an Orion female, which gave them the ability to implant the powerful suggestion of taking them aboard Solace and "giving them a tour". Be that as it may, I cannot help but hold those two responsible for the death of Lietuenant Commander David Cartwright. I do recognize, however, that that is more of an emotional response than a logical response. They were, by these reports, just as much the victim as Cartwright. I have, however, reconsidered assigning H'suur as head of security.

Now, I need to promote a new first officer. Perhaps Dornon...
