Before the Mast

Still wearing her Dress Uniform, Liara walks through the "Promenade", stopping occasionally to pick up some needed items from the vendors. The last few days spent splitting her time between after action reports, and bringing Ensign Brockovich to Captain's Mast. Verdict, and punishment, having been rendered a little over an hour ago. Charge with Derilection of Duty "Bathtub Brockovich" as he has now been christened, was awarded with a reprimand placed in is permanent record, 30 days restriction and 30 days extra duty. Liara felt the punishment was to lite, and said as much during the hearing, but her arguments were over-ridden by Captain Tigan. The more she thought about it though, the more she agreed with the Captains summation. "Ensign Brockovich is a kid, who made a very stupid mistake. We don't need to beat the stupid out of him Liara. It's much more effecient, to work the stupid out of him, and we have a lot of extra work to do around here."

"Besides," added Counselor Mirenne, "it's going to take a long time for him to get over this. Just think, the poor man is going to be taking strictly cold showers for months! And not for the usual reason." She paused, sighing, and made sure no one was within earshot. "His ah...therapy sessions indicate he had some issues even before this incident. Why do you think he was in a hot tub with a woman during a red alert? Trust me, he's being punished enough."
